Update 0.5 [May 10th, 2025] — Lunar Glow Event

The latest update introduces the exciting Lunar Glow Event to Grow a Garden! This update brings the night cycle to the game, along with new mutations, pets, and rewards.

Key Features:

• Night Cycle - Experience day and night in your garden for the first time
• Moonlit Mutation - A new mutation that gives plants a 2x sale value, only available at night
• Lunar Event Quests - Collect Lunar Points by giving Moonlit plants to the Wise Owl
• New Pets - Unlock special night pets including Hedgehog, Mole, Frog, Echo Frog, Night Owl, and Raccoon
• Moon Blossom - A rare new plant available in Night Seed Packs
• Night Staff - A special tool that helps plants get Moonlit mutations quickly

Lunar Event Rewards:

Complete the Lunar Event by collecting 520 Lunar Points to unlock all rewards, including:

• Hedgehog Pet (10 points)
• Night Seed Packs (various point levels)
• Night Staff (40, 110, 240, and 350 points)
• Night Pet Eggs (various point levels)
• Kiwi Pet (150 points)
• Owl Pet (520 points - final reward)

Update 0.4 [May 3rd, 2025] — Animal Update

The Animal Update introduced pets to Grow a Garden, adding over 20 unique animals that can help boost your garden's productivity.

Key Features:

• Pet System - Purchase animal eggs, hatch them, and equip up to 3 pets at once
• Pet Abilities - Each pet has unique traits that can help your garden
• Pet Eggs - Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, and Bug Eggs with different hatching times
• Pet Aging - Feed your pets to keep them happy and help them grow, improving their abilities
• New Crop - Pepper was added to the game

• New Seeds and Items - Expand your garden with new plant varieties

Mutations

Mutations are special conditions that can affect your crops, increasing their value significantly:

• Wet Mutation - 2x multiplier, obtained during Rain
• Shocked Mutation - 50x multiplier, obtained during Thunder when struck by lightning
• Gold Mutation - 20x multiplier, obtained randomly
• Rainbow Mutation - 50x multiplier, obtained randomly
• Moonlit Mutation - 2x multiplier, obtained at night (new in Update 0.5)
• Chilled/Frozen Mutations - Obtained during cold weather

Crop Rarities

Plants in Grow a Garden are categorized by rarity, which affects their value:

• Common - Basic crops like Carrots
• Uncommon - Slightly rarer crops
• Rare - Valuable crops that are harder to find
• Legendary - Very valuable crops with limited availability
• Mythical - Extremely rare crops with high value
• Divine - The rarest and most valuable crops

Weather Effects

Different weather conditions affect your garden in various ways:

• Rain - Accelerates plant growth and can create Wet mutations
• Thunder - Can create Shocked mutations when lightning strikes plants
• Frost - Can create Chilled or Frozen mutations
• Night - Enables Moonlit mutations (new in Update 0.5)
